Play of the Day: Trump Interrupts His Working Vacation to Threaten North Korea

Trump promises "fire and fury like the world has never seen."

President Donald Trump is staying at hie New Jersey golf club while the White House gets renovations costing millions of dollars. The Tonight Show's Jimmy Fallon joked that the cost might be high, but the staff is "child-proofing the whole house."

It was reported this week that U.S. intelligence sources have knowledge that North Korea has the ability to fit a nuclear warhead on missiles capable of hitting the American west coast. In response, Trump said that any more threats mean North Korea "will be met with fire and fury like the world has never seen," prompting Jimmy Kimmel to joke that he was Googling "ways to survive a nuclear attack." Late Night's Seth Meyers joked about Trump's ability to deescalate a situation, while Conan O'Brien compared Trump's rhetoric to Trump's relationship with his wife.Kimmel also noted that Trump gave his "fire and fury" statement from a golf club, likely mere yards away from a "little shop that sells range balls."
