Play of the Day: Shutdown? Isn't Mexico Going to Pay For the Wall?

The New York Times recently reported that Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and President Donald Trump are not on speaking terms due to animosity between the two of them. Conan O'Brien joked that Melania Trump asked McConell to teach her how to get in that position.

During his Tuesday rally, Trump told the crowd "if we have to close down our government, we're building that wall." The Daily Show's Trevor Noah noted that Trump's campaign promise was that Mexico would pay for the wall and called it "one of his greatest hits." Noah joked that "you can't just change the words to your songs, Trump" and gave an awkward example form Sir Mix-a-Lot.
