Play of the Day: Michael Flynn is Out of a Job

President Donald Trump's National Security Advisor Michael Flynn resigned Monday night after revelations that he was not forthright to some in the administration about his communications with Russia during the last few months. Jimmy Kimmel joked that Flynn's 24-day tenure meant he was the first person eliminated by the Celebrity Appresident, while Late Show's Stephen Colbert compared Flynn's tenure in the job to a fruit fly.

Trump tweeted about the Flynn situation on Tuesday, saying "The real story here is why are there so many illegal leaks coming out of Washington? Will these leaks be happening as I deal on N.Korea etc?" Colbert joked about the tweet, tying the weekend open-air Florida security meeting with Shinzō Abe to Trump's tweet.
