During a press conference in Washington Wednesday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that "There is no greater supporter of the Jewish people and the Jewish state than President Donald Trump." Late Night' s Seth Meyers noted the comment, joking that Trump replied "Absolutely. I love Florida."
With the controversy surrounding ousted National Security Advisor Michael Flynn this week , late-night was full of jokes about the Trump White House's relationship with Russia. Full Frontal' s Samantha Bee brought back the "No puppet!" video from one of the general election debated , while The Daily Show 's Trevor Noah joked that Trump has a lower-back tattoo of Vladimir Putin's face (now known as a "Trump stamp" ). Noah and Meyers also joked about Trump's claim that the media was to blame for Flynn's departure , with Meyers saying Trump's reluctance to admit firing Flynn is like finding out Progressive Insurance's Flo rides the bus while Noah showed the always funny footage of Trump making the "You're fired!" face and hand motions for paparazzi.
