Self-proclaimed Cubs fan Hillary Clinton loved the team's comeback story in game seven.
The FBI is conducting an internal review of a long-dormant Twitter account that recently put out tweets about Donald Trump's father and an investigation into Bill Clinton's pardon of Marc Rich. Late Night's Seth Meyers joked about the tweets, tying the agency account to Russia's involvement in the American election.
The Chicago Cubs won the World Series this week and alleged Cub fan Hillary Clinton tweeted her congratulations to the team. Meyers combined the election and baseball in joking about Trump's claims of rigged contests, while Conan O'Brien joked that the Cubs had trouble when "in the eighth inning, the FBI started investigating the Cubs' emails." The Tonight Show's Jimmy Fallon joked about Clinton's love for the Cubs' game seven comeback story… especially considering recent polls.
