Play of the Day: Rigging an Election

Donald Trump claims the election will be fixed and he's right… In a way.

Donald Trump has had an eventful few weeks in the news, as The Nightly Show's Larry Wilmore noted Monday night. In addition to starting a fight with a Gold Star family and throwing a baby out of a rally, Trump seemed to fail the "foreign policy" segment of the presidential test when he didn't know that Russia invaded Crimea. Wilmore joked that even a business traveler reading a bad newspaper could've found that out.

The Daily Show's Trevor Noah looked at Trump's recent comment suggesting the 2016 election will be rigged. A new immigrant to the U.S., Noah noted that the American system seems like it is rigged with policies like gerrymandering and the North Carolina restrictions on early voting. As Noah noted, this may not be the way Trump thinks the system is rigged, but rigged it is.
