Play of the Day: Donald's Russian Friend, Melania's Nude Photos and Hillary's Public Service
The 2016 general election campaign has officially started.
GOP nominee Donald Trump has had an array of scandals during the 2016 election. One of the latest has been the New York Post uncovering nude photos of Trump's wife Melania. When a Trump advisor said "They're a celebration of the human body as art," Jimmy Kimmel joked that it looked more like the "human body as a paycheck."
Trump's relationship with Russian President Vladimir Putin could be a scandal, as well, as Trump's denial of a Putin meeting was easily disproved. Late Night's Seth Meyers joked about the gaffe, referencing Play of the Day's favorite photo and asking "how many shark-eyed equestrians do you know?"
Full Frontal's Samantha Bee's weekly show got to the Democratic National Convention Monday night hitting the highlights. Bee joked about the balloon drop and Barack Obama's endorsement of Hillary Clinton's qualifications to be president. Bee also noted Clinton's comment about her preference toward the "service" part of public service, because a president is not, you know, a public job.
