Play of the Day: The Democrats Are United… Or Are They?

Obama meets with Sanders, but he isn't dropping out just yet.

President Barack Obama endorsed Hillary Clinton in an online video Thursday after meeting with Clinton's primary rival Bernie Sanders at the White House. Late-night hosts joked about Obama saying "I don't think there's ever been someone so qualified to hold this office" about Clinton, with Late Show's Stephen Colbert mocking Franklin Roosevelt and Conan O'Brien harkening back to 2008.

O'Brien and Late Night's Seth Meyers noted that Sanders is still in the race – even after meeting with Obama – with Meyers saying Sanders showed up in a U-Haul and O'Brien suggesting Sanders would pick Clinton for VP.

After the endorsement video was released, presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump tweeted "Obama just endorsed Crooked Hillary. He wants four more years of Obama—but nobody else does!" with Clinton clapping back with "Delete your account." As Colbert noted, deleting computer information is most certainly Clinton's area of expertise.
