Play of the Day: Carly Fiorina's Fall is a Metaphor For the Campaign
Ted Cruz's running mate takes a tumble in Indiana and it's quite symbolic.
A 12-year-old boy heckled presidential candidate Ted Cruz last week, yelling "you suck!" at the Texan during an Indiana rally. Conan O'Brien joked that this means the future of America is in good hands, while Late Show's Stephen Colbert joked about Cruz's statement that the boy should be spanked.
Carly Fiorina provided America with some interesting video Monday when she fell off a stage after introducing Cruz in Indiana. Colbert connected the fall to John Boehner's recent comments about Cruz, while O'Brien said the Cruz/Fiorina's ticket is so bad that even Fiorina's ankles don't support her. Ultimately, though, Jimmy Kimmel and O'Brien described the entire scene as a metaphor for the entire 2016 campaign.
