Play of the Day: Some of Those Chicago Protest Signs Truly Insulted Trump
Trump may say some inflammatory things, but accusing him of putting ketchup on his hot dogs is way more serious.
Hillary Clinton came under fire recently for her gaffe at Nancy Reagan's funeral, saying that the Reagans "started a conversation" about HIV/AIDS. Full Frontal's Samantha Bee clarified the truth behind Clinton's mistake, referencing the AIDS quilt, while The Nightly Show's Larry Wilmore noted Clinton's famed preparedness.
The fallout from the incidents at Donald Trump's rallies continued Monday. Bee showed video of one Trump supporter with a bad idea of history, while Late Night's Seth Meyers compared and contrasted Trump's canceled Chicago rally with Sanders' rally a few miles away. Meyers also noted one of the protest signs at Trump's Chicago event that said "Trump puts ketchup on his hot dogs." To Chicagoans, this is a mortal sin and is almost as bad as eating New York pizza with a fork and knife… which is also something Trump does.
