Play of the Day: Some Candidates' Merchandise is More On-Brand Than Others

An unofficial Bernie Sanders store is selling a 'ceramic pipe.'

President Barack Obama wrote an introduction for the newest Peanuts book of comics. The Daily Show's Trevor Noah compared the president's two terms to that of the cartoon gang. First, he compared Obama to Charlie Brown and Congress to Lucy pulling the football away . He then pivoted to ask how the Affordable Care Act affected Lucy's famed mental health practice.

Bernie Sanders admitted recently that he has smoked marijuana twice, but Late Show's Stephen Colbert noted that such an admission very off-brand for Sanders. In fact, Jimmy Kimmel found an unofficial Sanders store selling Sanders "ceramic pipes" that fit the stereotype of a pothead Sanders supporter. It's the perfect, Kimmel said Wednesday, to express "I support my candidate, but forgot to vote for him."
