Play of the Day: Clinton and Sanders Pander to Different Kinds of Voters

Sanders can't get it right with black voters while Clinton has issues with the youth vote.

Supreme Court justice Antonin Scalia died Saturday, leaving a vacancy on the United States Supreme Court that Republicans said they don't want Obama to fill. Full Frontal's Samantha Bee joked that filling court vacancies is one of the president's only actual duties, while Late Night's Seth Meyers joked about the prospects of Bernie Sanders or Donald Trump choosing a ninth justice.

As Sanders and Hillary Clinton continue to battle for the Democratic nomination, each is trying to shore up a core constituency. In Sanders' case, last week's debate gave him an opportunity to gain support among African-American voters, but Bee pointed out that he missed the mark quite a bit by referencing Winston Churchill. Late Show's Stephen Colbert noted Clinton's struggle with the youth vote and her new strategy: Advertise on AOL.
