Play of the Day: Many Questions Emerge From Tuesday's Debate

Can Donald Trump "insult his way to the nomination?" Is Ben Carson asleep? Why was this thing held in Las Vegas?

Late-night television spent most of Wednesday night joking about Tuesday's fifth GOP debate of this election cycle. The big confrontation of the evening came from Jeb Bush and Donald Trump, with the Floridian saying Trump can't "insult his way to the nomination." The Daily Show's Trevor Noah joked about Bush's newfound courage, while Late Night's Seth Meyers suggested Bush was just the man to take down the flamboyant frontrunner. The Late Show staff put together a video joking about the confrontation, featuring a Trump-esque Franklin Roosevelt.

Ben Carson asked for a moment of silence at the beginning of his opening statement Tuesday night, honoring the victims of the San Bernardino attacks. Noah suggested Carson was just looking for a nap, while The Nightly Show's Larry Wilmore joked that Carson's lack of preparedness echoed that of schoolchildren who hadn't finished their book reports.
