A recent New York Times headline said Republican leaders are "paralyzed" by Donald Trump's emergence as the top GOP 2016 contender. Conan O'Brien joked about this and Trump's recent history with people with disabilities.
On Monday, Sen. James Lankford, R-Okla., released his "Federal Fumbles" report on what he considers wasteful government spending. Among the programs highlighted was a National Science Foundation study on the dating habits of senior citizens. The Tonight Show's Jimmy Fallon joked about the study, saying government scientists may have learned more than they wanted to know and showing which politician might have spearheaded the study.
