Play of the Day: Donald Trump's Long Speech
The 2016 candidate spoke at length in Iowa late last week and late-night noticed.
Bernie Sanders was endorsed last week by the American Postal Workers Union’s National Executive Board, causing Saturday Night Live's Colin Jost to joke about Sanders' age. The Tonight Show's Jimmy Fallon also joked about the endorsement, mocking the reliability of the United States Postal Service.
Donald Trump gave a 95-minute speech in Iowa late last week that confused many in the audience. The real estate mogul used the speech to talk about how tough he is, prompting Late Show's Stephen Colbert to do a Trump impression overusing the word "tough." The speech also featured Trump trying to rebuke claims of Ben Carson's stabbing story, causing Jost, Fallon and Colbert all to make jokes at the candidates' expense.
