The House GOP is in disarray after Kevin McCarthy withdrew his name from consideration.
Ben Carson continued to talk about gun violence this week, recounting a story of his witnessing an armed robbery at a Popeye's. The Daily Show joked about Carson's gun talk Thursday, while Late Night's Seth Meyers knows Carson lost at least one voter.
Meyers also spent a segment looking at Kevin McCarthy's sudden announcement that he will not be running for Speaker of the House. In addition to jokes about outgoing Speaker John Boehner, Meyers wondered if the bad audio problems were a sign of a bigger issue for the House GOP.
