Play of the Day: All Pope, All the Time

Pope Francis is in the United States and late-night TV is all over this historic event.

Pope Francis is in the United States for six days this week and was greeted Tuesday by President Barack Obama. Late-night hosts joked about the pontiff's car choice (Fiat) and Obama's appearance at Andrews Air Force Base, with The Nightly Show photoshopping Obama at an airport with a sign reading "The Pope."

Catholic Rep. Paul Gosar, R-Ariz., made news this week by announcing he will boycott the the pontiff's Thursday speech to Congress because of Pope Francis' views on climate change, suggesting there isn't enough "hard science." Another Catholic, The Late Show's Stephen Colbert, took umbrage with Gosar's statement, even invoking the other "hard science" of the Catholic church.
