The National Security Agency’s surveillance program is still a main topic for late-night television hosts. Tonight Show host Jay Leno tied the program to Barack Obama’s recent statements on gay rights , saying the president wants all Americans to be equal in being spied on. Leno also tied the program to jokes about Sarah Palin and NSA leaker Edward Snowden’s location .

Referencing government surveillance, Late Night ’s Jimmy Fallon noted the recent popularity of George Orwell’s 1984 and mentioned the irony of the tracking that Amazon does. Fallon also mentioned Obama’s upcoming Africa trip , putting Vice President Joe Biden in his humor crosshairs.

Fast forward to 1:50 to see Fallon compare Edward Snowden to a common archetype from a certain TV ad.
