As Barack Obama introduced a new program to expand science research this week , Jimmy Fallon took an opportunity to get another dig in at Joe Biden. President Barack Obama’s BRAIN initiative was a source of humor last night for the NBC host as he noted that one would find Spongebob Squarepants while mapping the vice president’s brain. On The Colbert Report , host Stephen Colbert devoted his entire second segment and guest slot to the BRAIN project, suggesting Obama is wasting taxpayer money because maps and ice picks are much cheaper.

North Korea dictator Kim Jong-Un’s sabre-rattling remains a source of jokes for hosts, as well. David Letterman and Jay Leno had bits about them, with Letterman showing a video of North Korean military capability.
