The United States Postal Service says it has lost $13 billion in fiscal 2020 due to the economic downturn resulting from the pandemic and is now projected to lose $22 billion over the next 18 months. Louis DeJoy will serve as the 75th postmaster general beginning June 15 and he will inherit this financial situation.

Michael Plunkett is the president of PostCom, an association of large-scale private sector postal customers. He joined the show to talk about USPS' struggles and the path forward.
