While no nation was ready for the overwhelming vastness of the COVID-19, the U.S. is vulnerable to such a pandemic. A big part of that is the U.S. healthcare system, including the lack of the necessary equipment like masks, gloves, shields and ventilators. Medical and protective equipment shortages are a huge problem.
