Neil Armstrong on Progress, One Small Step at a Time

The world's most famous Astronaut passed away one month ago today.

It was one month ago, on Aug. 25, that the first person to walk on the moon and the most famous government employee ever, Neil Armstrong, passed away. Armstrong didn't give many interviews and shied away from the spotlight, remaining humble until the end in his accomplishments. In a rare hour-long interview conducted earlier this year with, oddly enough, the head of an Australian accounting group, Armstrong talked about leadership and his life.

Excellence in Government will begin sharing images containing inspiring quotes and leadership lessons on our Facebook and Google + accounts--you can like, share, print or do whatever you like with them. You can see the first one, a quote from Armstrong's interview, we found to be of particular interest for managers who often forget progress comes one step at a time.
