The Trump Transition Goes Digital

It’s official: Donald Trump now has a .gov website.

For folks out there concerned that the next president might not know his way around a computer, rest assured President-Elect Donald Trump’s transition team does. Government’s newest website, www.greatagain.gov, offers an overview of Trump’s top priorities, from regulatory reform to building that wall, as well as information about the mechanics of the transition itself.

The site also features an online application for those who want to work in the Trump Administration and invites citizens to share ideas for how to make America great again.

And for anyone involved in the transition who wants to track government reform information on the go, the Government Accountability Office is now offering a transition app. According to Comptroller General and GAO head Gene Dodaro, the agency’s extensive experience analyzing government programs and agencies makes it the logical organization to help bring people up speed on a wide range of vital issues.

“We’ve tried to make sure the app as directly as possible lays out quick lists of the major changes needed and allows users to navigate right to GAO’s reports for all the details,” Dodaro said in a statement.

The free app is available for both Apple and Android devices.
