Talk to OMB's Top Leadership Team

Our final Excellence in Government conference of the year is coming up next Monday, and I'm pleased to report that we've saved the best for last -- literally. The conference's closing session will feature almost the entire senior leadership of the "M" side of the Office of Management and Budget:

• Jeffrey Zients, federal chief performance officer and deputy director of OMB for management
• Vivek Kundra, federal chief information officer
• Danny Werfel, controller, Office of Federal Financial Management
• Shelley Metzenbaum, associate director of performance and personnel management
• Lesley Field, deputy administrator for federal procurement policy

Zients will provide his first-ever public status report on the Obama administration's management improvement initiative. Then he and the other members of the panel will take questions from the audience.
