ANNOUNCEMENT DUE ON 'PARITY' IN MENTAL HEALTH COVERAGE-"The Clinton administration has decided how to enforce a significant new law intended to expand insurance for mental health services, and is preparing to announce that companies will be prohibited from claiming in advance that they should not have to offer more coverage because it would cost too much" (The Washington Post).

SEASON BRINGS BLIZZARD OF MAIL FOR POSTAL SERVICE-The U.S. Postal Service will have handled an estimated 280 million cards and letters yesterday -- the busiest day of the year for an agency benefiting from business it picked up during the UPS strike (The Washington Post).
