ALBRIGHT CALLED A ROLE MODEL-Secretary of State Madeleine Albright was named the top woman role model in a Ms. Foundation listing of the the year's top 10 women role models (CNN Interactive).

CISNEROS INDICTED-Former Housing and Urban Development Secretary Henry Cisneros was indicted yesterday on 18 felony counts (The Washington Post).

DRUG WAR TO ESCALATE-President Clinton yesterday praised the Coast Guard and the Customs Service for their drug interdiction efforts. He also promised additional DoD funds for the drug war and focused on an upcoming ad campaign targeted at reducing young people's drug use (White House Press Release).
