Our New Look
If you're a regular user of GovExec.com, by now you will have noticed that we've spruced up our look a bit.
The biggest change is the new logo that now appears at the top of the front page and, in smaller form, on each of the interior pages on the site. We've introduced the new logo both to freshen up the look of the site and to reinforce what our users (whose ranks are growing every day--last month alone, pages on our site were viewed more than 200,000 times) already know: that GovExec.com is much more than an online version of Government Executive magazine.
While we continue to post all of the articles from our print magazine online, we also offer our readers a host of other features unique to the Web site.
GovExec.com's "Daily Briefing" section, for example, is the most up-to-date source of daily news for federal professionals, either in print or on the Web. In recent weeks, we have reported on efforts to reform the IRS, congressional ratings of agencies' strategic plans under the Government Performance and Results Act, President Clinton's line-item veto of a proposal to allow employees to switch retirement plans, and federal agencies honored under the Innovations in American Government program.
In addition to our daily news coverage, we have added a series of special sections designed to provide detailed information on subjects of intense interest to our users. These include our Federal Employees Health Benefits Program Open Season Guide, our ongoing Pay and Benefits Watch, and our annual rankings of the Top 200 Federal Contractors.
It's all part of our effort to make GovExec.com an indispensable resource for the people who make the government work. So let us know what you think of the new look and the new features, and tell us what we can do to continue to serve you better.
