RENO TO DECIDE NEXT WEEK ON INDEPENDENT COUNSELS-"Attorney General Janet Reno will wait until next week to make final decisions on whether to seek independent counsels to investigate fund-raising telephone calls by President Clinton and Vice President Gore" (The Washington Post).

ADMINISTRATION FILLS OUT ROSTER FOR GLOBAL WARMING CONFERENCE-"The Clinton administration yesterday settled on a slate of veteran diplomats and senior aides to press its case for cuts in air pollution at next week's international conference on global warming" (The Washington Post).

WHEELING AND DEALING AND KEEPING SCORE ON THE 'FAST TRACK'-"After all the promises were made, the administration still didn't have enough votes to pass 'fast track' trade legislation" (The Washington Post).

Government Technology Leadership Institute
