The 1996 athletes from the armed services that competed as members of the U.S. Olympic team in Atlanta were honored today at the Pentagon's Hall of Heroes. Most of the participants, not surprisingly, were in shooting events, but service members and reservists also competed in sports such as wrestling, team handball and basketball.
