Play of the Day: More on the Comey Firing

In the wake of this week's firing of former FBI Director James Comey, the White House cited low employee morale at the bureau as a reason for the dismissal. Acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe contradicted that in testimony Thursday, saying, “Comey enjoyed broad support within the FBI and still does to this day.” Jimmy Kimmel joked about the testimony, saying that President Donald Trump is now going to fire McCabe, while The Daily Show's Trevor Noah joked about Comey's considerable height.

Kimmel was taken aback by Trump sending a formal letter to Comey to inform him of his termination. After all, Trump's Apprentice catchphrase was "you're fired," so it's kind of like "Arnold Schwarzenegger leaving a party and just going 'See ya!'"
