Play of the Day: The 2016 Campaign Moves to New York

Hillary Clinton rides the subway and Ted Cruz gets a chilly reception in the Empire State.

John Kasich's crowds in upstate New York have been bigger than expected recently, causing the candidate to move some of his events to larger locations. Conan O'Brien joked about Kasich's popularity Thursday night, saying the move was just from a "toll booth to a Sunglass Hut."

As the New York primary approaches, all of the 2016 contenders are campaigning there. Hillary Clinton visited Yankee Stadium, so The Tonight Show's Jimmy Fallon joked about Bernie Sanders' age, while Late Night's Seth Meyers joked about Clinton's Metrocard troubles. Ted Cruz has not been warmly-received in the state. The Daily Show showed a clip of the Texan being heckled as he walked through the city, joking that Cruz was just filming his own version of a street harassment video.
