Play of the Day: Obama's Aiming a Little High

The American people don't have the strongest vocabulary skills, so "existential" might be a little aggressive a word for the president to use.

A bust was unveiled last week of former Vice President Dick Cheney in the Senate. The Tonight Show's Jimmy Fallon joked about the occasion Friday, mocking Cheney's famed aloofness.

President Barack Obama spoke about the shootings in San Bernardino late last week, calling terrorism an "existential threat" to the United States. Saturday Night Live's Colin Jost joked about the president's comments, saying he might want to dumb down the rhetoric a little. After all, we're "four deep" in Chipmunks movie franchise, as a nation, and most Americans don't know what "existential" means.
