It's a good idea to check the site every time you plan to travel, because the rules change frequently. The site offers tips for packing and for clearing security without a hassle.

CARRY IT

Personal Items
Cigar cutters, corkscrews, cuticle cutters, eyeglass repair tools, eyelash curlers, knitting or crochet needles, knives (only round-bladed or plastic), nail clippers and files, personal care/toiletries with aerosols, safety razors, scissors (only plastic or metal with blunt tips), tweezers, and umbrellas and canes (which must be inspected for concealed items).

Medication/Special Needs
Braille supplies, diabetes supplies and equipment, nitroglycerine pills or spray for medical use, prosthetic devices and tools.

Sharp Objects and Tools
Box cutters, axes, picks, hatchets, drills, hammers, knives (except round-bladed, butter or plastic knives), saws, screwdrivers (except in eyeglass repair kits), utility knives, razor blades not in a cartridge, metal scissors with pointed tips, wrenches, pliers.

Sporting Goods/Martial Arts/Self-Defense
Baseball bats, golf clubs, pool cues, ski poles, guns and firearms, ammunition, realistic replicas of firearms, billy clubs, black jacks, brass knuckles, mace and pepper spray, nightsticks, martial arts weapons.
