Two U.S. soldiers killed by Afhgan army member

Afghan police and military have killed 42 coalition members this year, including 12 in the last month.

A member of the Afghan Army shot and killed two U.S. soldiers in Afghanistan Monday as a dispute broke out during a joint raid by Afghans and Americans, The New York Times reported.

Thus far this year, 42 coalition soldiers have been killed by Afghan police and military, including 12 in the last month.

A separate incident in southeast Helmand Province early Monday left 10 Afghan soldiers dead.

A provincial spokesman told The Times that the attack was the latest example of insurgents infiltrating the Afghan military.
