Bush administration unveils 2002 pay increases

President Bush has ordered pay raises ranging from 4.52 percent to 5.42 percent for federal employees in 2002, depending on where they work.

Civilian employees eligible for ‘hostile fire’ pay

Federal employees who were at the Pentagon and World Trade Center complex during the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks are eligible for a one-time payment of $150, under a provision approved by Congress last week.
