Federal agencies are properly implementing veterans’ preference in their hiring decisions, according to a new study from the Office of Personnel Management.
In a sign that procurement reform may soon receive more congressional scrutiny, the Senate Governmental Affairs Committee last week called on the General Accounting Office to investigate the fees agencies charge on multiple-agency contracts and separately, the needs of the government’s acquisition workforce.
