The article that originally appeared on this page said that Federal News Radio had reported that the Small Business Administration, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have have offered or are actively pursuing permission to offer buyouts and early retirement packages to their employees.
That information was based on a report that actually was posted on Oct. 24, 2011. It appeared on the Federal News Radio site on July 13 due to an error in their Web system.
