Airbnb offers some luxurious lodging situations for the EPA chief in D.C.
President Donald Trump defended his trade policies with China on Twitter last week, saying "When you’re already $500 Billion DOWN, you can’t lose! " Saturday Night Live's Colin Jost joked about the tweet, calling it "degenerate gambler logic."
Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Scott Pruitt is under fire for various ethics complaints over the last year, including a heavy security detail at Disneyland. That caused Last Week Tonight's John Oliver to joke about Mickey and Minnie Mouse cursing at Pruitt. The EPA chief also seemingly got an undermarket deal on a Capitol Hill condo lease for $50 a night, so Oliver went through Pruitt's other options for the same price on Airbnb and found some interesting options including a "glistening" room for rent and a couch named "Black Beauty."
