The president can talk about a few things, but not everything.
Despite warnings from his staff, President Donald Trump congratulated Russian President Vladimir Putin on his recent electoral victory in a phone call this week. The Tonight Show's Jimmy Fallon joked about the news, saying Trump called the conversation a "Puti call."
According to reports, Trump's legal team met with representatives of Special Counsel Robert Mueller's team to discuss interview topics for a potential conversation with Trump during Mueller's investigation. Late Night's Seth Meyers joked about the meeting, saying Trump's favorite topics include the electoral map and women, while Late Show's Stephen Colbert joked that Trump's forbidden topics include "Vlad stuff." Fallon put together a series of compromise conversation topics, including The Jersey Shore and Donald Trump, Jr.
