President Donald Trump’s communications director Hope Hicks announced this week that she is stepping down. The Tonight Show's Jimmy Fallon joked about the news, saying Hicks will get a job that's less stressful, like heart surgeon or air traffic controller.
Trump met with lawmakers this week to talk about solutions to the epidemic of gun violence in the United States. During the meeting, he said that he'd like a system to "take the guns first, go through due process second,” prompting The Opposition's Jordan Klepper to joke that maybe Barack Obama -- who was said to be coming to take Americans' guns -- was the one who would build the wall. The Daily Show's Trevor Noah joked that Trump might have been Hillary clinton in disguise and noted that Trump may finally be seeing the cause of gun violence: guns themselves.
