President Donald Trump came back from a holiday break to Twitter with a passion on Tuesday, tweeting several times on Tuesday about topics ranging from the press to one tweet that seemed to imply that he's responsible for the zero commercial airline deaths in 2017. Jimmy Kimmel joked about the tweet, saying "Not since Harrison Ford was president have we felt so protected."
North Korean leader Kim Jong Un gave an address on Monday in which he said "a nuclear button is always on the desk of my office." When asked about the speech at his New Year's Eve party at Mar-a-Lago, Trump said "we'll see" and "I don't know," prompting The Daily Show's Trevor Noah to joked that "I don't know" is a favored phrase of Trump because it absolves him of anything wild he said before. Late Show's Stephen Colbert joked about a Tuesday Trump tweet on the topic and noted the president's nonchalance with the phrase "we'll see," joking (as Trump), "Maybe it'll lead to peace, maybe it'll lead to thermonuclear war. No way of knowing. I, as the president, would do something about it, but I'm too busy keeping all the planes in the sky."
