Play of the Day: Donald Trump and His Lawyer Say He's Under Investigation. Or Not.

It was reported this week that ethics forms show President Donald Trump made $598 million in 2016. The Tonight Show's Jimmy Fallon tied the news to the president's relationship with the tax system.
One of Trump's personal lawyers, Jay Sekulow, made the rounds on the Sunday political shows over the weekend and defended the president in saying that Trump is not under investigation in the Russia probe. Conan O'Brien joked that Sekulow might be hard to trust because he's Trump's lawyer, while Late Show's Stephen Colbert joked about his resemblance to Mr. Burns' lawyer from the Simpsons. Colbert also joked about Sekulow contradicting both Trump's own tweets and Sekulow's own words on the investigation. The Daily Show's Trevor Noah noted the contradictions and joked "I can't believe I'm saying this, but Donald Trump would be better off defending himself if that's your lawyer."
