Play of the Day: Donald Trump is President and You're Not

The president ends a newly published interview with an unimpeachable fact.

President Donald Trump met with trucking industry executives Thursday and climbed into a truck cab to act as though he was driving the big rig. Trump even honked the horn, prompting Jimmy Kimmel to joke that he saw a "honk if you're horny" bumper sticker and Melania's been in New York most of Trump's presidency.

Time published an interview Thursday with Trump, in which the president continued claiming he was wiretapped by Barack Obama and seemed to indicate that he would overtake Richard Nixon as the president with the most Time covers. Late Night's Seth Meyers asked if Trump knows who Nixon was, while The Daily Show's Trevor Noah noted Trump's speaking style sometimes borders on incoherent.

Trump ended the Time interview by saying, "I can’t be doing so badly, because I’m president, and you’re not." Meyers noted that Trump was copping a line from Chevy Chase's time on Saturday Night Live, while Kimmel wondered if Trump uses that line daily for things like dinner decisions. Kimmel also put up a helpful series of photos to show viewer who, exactly, is president and who is not.
