The federal government rescinded guidance from the Barack Obama administration on bathroom usage for transgender students this week, with rumored disagreement in the Donald Trump administration between Attorney General Jeff Sessions and Education Secretary Betsy DeVos. Late Show's Stephen Colbert joked about the conversation, noting Sessions' record on civil rights.
Trump has spent most of his weekends as president playing golf in Florida, as Late Night's Seth Meyers noted Thursday. Meyers joked that Trump plays golf more than a "San Diego dentist" while also joking about Trump's changing story around the "few" holes he played with Masters champion Rory McIlroy. Meyers also noted that Trump prefers to keep the press away from his golf game, joking about Trump's physique while shooting 18.
