Play of the Day: Donald Trump Takes on Presidential Traditions

He doesn't attend intelligence briefings… But that may be a good thing.

It's still up in the air as to whether president-elect Donald Trump will get a pet when he is inaugurated in January. Late Show's Stephen Colbert joked about Trump breaking the 150-year-old tradition by joking about "the rare golden marmot that nests on his head."

Trump is also breaking with tradition by sparingly attending intelligence briefings while president-elect. Saturday Night Live's Michael Che joked that Trump's Twitter activity suggests perhaps White House staff should give Trump "headphones and an iPad and make him him watch Frozen." Che's "Weekend Update" co-anchor joked about Trump's continued producing role at The Celebrity Apprentice, joking about his network's involvement in the show, while fellow NBCer Jimmy Fallon joked that Trump may be involved in TV just for the title. Or maybe that's the presidency.
