The weekly late-night shows examined the presidential election results over the weekend, with Saturday Night Live turning somber for its cold open. On Weekend Update, though, Michael Che joked that Hillary Clinton may actually be cursed and SNL's Colin Jost made fun of Trump's famous hats.
Trump's promise to "drain the swamp" appears to be more difficult than originally thought, as a campaign-released list suggests many lobbyists, insiders and longtime government types will be part of his administration. Last Week Tonight's John Oliver joked that the group is swampy enough for Louisiana, while Jost compared all the famous names in a potential Trump administration to denizens of an actual swamp.
