Play of the Day: Donald Trump is Confused About a Few Things
His comments caught on an "Access Hollywood" hot mic suggest he may not understand certain things about human reproduction.
After a video surfaced Friday showing Donald Trump bragging about unwanted sexual advances in lewd terms, weekend late-night shows featured jokes about the GOP nominee. Fox News' Greg Gutfeld noted that Trump's midnight Facebook apology wasn't really that, while Last Week Tonight's John Oliver joked about Trump's "we're living in the real world" wording. After all, don't we all wish that "this whole election was a horrible dream," as Oliver said?
Saturday Night Live brought Alec Baldwin back to play Trump in its cold open and explain his comments. As a CNN anchor played by Cecily Strong asked about Republicans jumping off the #TrumpTrain, Baldwin-as-Trump derided each. Baldwin's Trump even gave an apology, in the form of saying he could do even more than just "grab"… he can also bop, twist and pull it. As SNL's Weekend Update anchor Colin Jost joked, Trump's wording in the origina video suggests he "doesn't even know how sex works."
