Play of the Day: Sarcasm, Kim Jong-Un's Hair and North Korean Nukes
The hermit kingdom is going through some stuff and late-night TV has noticed.
With the candidates' health in the news, Chelsea Handler joked about Donald Trump's doctor and Trump's nutrition regimen Friday. She also joked about Hillary Clinton's recent health problems by saying we might want a president who doesn't "need to be airlifted up a flight of stairs."
Last week, North Korea tested another nuclear weapon underground, causing Late Show's Stephen Colbert to joke about the plight of the North Korean people. Colbert also noted that "an unhinged strongman with a ridiculous haircut and nuclear arms" is very scary, especially when one is so close to the White House. Colbert and The Tonight Show's Jimmy Fallon also joked about North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un banning sarcasm in the hermit kingdom, saying it's a great idea and Kim's haircut looks amazing.
