The president's not trying very hard in his final year.
Donald Trump supporter Ben Carson went to CNN this week to defend Trump's controversial comments on abortion. Carson claimed Trump wasn't "warned" that he was going to be asked the question, but Late Night's Seth Meyers noted that being president means not a lot of warnings. It's not like ISIS gives a lot of warnings about attacks.
Barack Obama commuted the sentences of 61 federal prisoners this week and later had lunch with some of the ex-prisoners. Jimmy Kimmel joked that ex-prisoners only get to visit the White House when they win the Super Bowl and noted that Obama's developing some serious senioritis. Maybe he can get some weed from those former drug offenders.
