Play of the Day: More From the Candidates' Travels in the Big Apple

It's almost the New York primary and the 2016 contenders are in full pander mode.

In a recent interview, Bernie Sanders said he attended Boy Scout camp during his childhood in New York. The Tonight Show's Jimmy Fallon used this as an opportunity to joke about the Vermont Senator's age, saying Sanders got the first patch for discovering fire.

As the New York primary approaches, the candidates are campaigning there. Sanders made a gaffe last week by saying New Yorkers still use tokens on the subway, which caused Saturday Night Live's Michael Che to tie to Sanders' lack of minority support. Hillary Clinton had subway problems of her own, which led SNL's Colin Jost to joke about her attempts at pandering. Jost also called back to Ted Cruz's thinly-veiled antisemitic remarks last fall and his recent trip to a matzoh factory in New York.
